Project Background
The content of this website describes a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Unit for a technology education course based on the Biomass Conversion to Biofuel concepts. The project focuses working with the Biomass conversion from a technology point of view and all that is involved with it.
The unit has been designed to be adaptable for use in grades 8 - 12. It is meant to be applicable to a variety of technology education courses such as a civil engineering and architecture and in an 8th grade technology education overview class.
This site was created to fulfill the requirements of Purdue University Course EDCI 62700, Summer 2012. The course was taught by Dr. P. Ertman, Dr. S. Schlosser, and Dr. K. Clase.
